Taking a car in for regular maintenance is usually a nerve-racking ordeal. Not with Mastertech though. Felt like part of the family as soon as Bob said hello upon checking my Lexus in. Very courteous too. They were swamped that day and although I expected my car to be there most of the day, Bob took his time out of the busy schedule to update me on the status of my car. Never tried to sell me anything like other shops do either! When I got there to pick it up, Rick went through all that was done and I was pleasantly surprised to see the total. It was less than I expected for such high quality service and level of expertise! Thank you Mastertech! Will definitely be back for regular maintenance :)

If you dont want to get ripped off, avoid this location. I went to this place because was recomended by another shop but they were trying to charge me with some crazy high amount of money for some repairs in my car to the point that I was just thinking to sell my car to the junker and get another car, but before, I did my homework, I went to 3 different high rated maintenance shops in oceanside and took the diagnosis receipt I was given at mastertech, a diagnosis that cost me almost 500$. All of this other shops gave me a quote with an average or 3,800 less than the amount mastertech was trying to charge me. Becareful with this people.

I came here for a smog test on my car. I did not realize that I needed an appointment. Without me asking, they fit me right in. They were very friendly & accomodating while speaking to me about my other car that has issues. They offer other services as well, alignment/suspensions; brakes; computer diagnosing; air conditioning; oil changes etc. I would not hesitate to return here for service & will spread the word!

I was impressed with the methodical approach to troubleshooting and diagnosis of an oil system issue on my high mileage Honda CRV. Bob kept me updated on progress and the costs. They helped me extend the life of my vehicle.

I'm super happy with the service I received here. They were able to diagnose a suspension issue that another mechanic did not catch. They got the parts ordered quickly and had my car back to me promptly. I was also so pleased that I ended up paying less than the price they initially quoted since they later found that some of the work they planned to do was unnecessary. I'm so glad to have found an honest, transparent, and knowledgeable repair shop.

Everyone I have met here has been upfront, trustworthy, and professional. I won't be going anywhere else. I have a KIA Sorrento and they have been knowledgeable on it all.
