Oceanside Auto Repair

Within a day of moving into Oceanside, my ‘88 Land Cruiser started giving me problems. Rick and his crew got me right in and back on the road in record time! They treated me like a long-time customer, which I greatly appreciated since I don’t know anyone. Their price was fair & their service was golden. I’ve found my new neighborhood mechanic… one less thing to worry about. I couldn’t recommend Mastertech more!

I have brought my 2019 4Runner in now I believe 3 times after my dealer service warranty expired and they are by far one of the best places I’ve taken my cars to. They are honest and do great work, I had issues with the Toyota dealership cutting corners and not doing scheduled maintenance and have not had an issue or complaint about Mastertech. I will definitely keep using them and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality shop!

My wife takes her car there. Very good shop but a bit pricey. If you own a Nissan or a infiniti this place is A+ for that . Cheaper than the dealer but not by to much .

Mastertech is the best place to take your car or truck here in Oceanside. I worked here for 9 years before hopping into a different career a couple years ago, but still make sure my vehicles are only serviced by the technicians here. Rick and Lou have a strong reputation throughout the community for the business they built (27 years ago) and are as straight as they come, if they say a vehicle needs something, there's no doubt about it, and the technicians they have are honest and very talented. Bob is great with keeping people updated and has fantastic customer service. There are many auto repair shops that continuously utilize the knowledge and experience of Mastertech, along with some of their specialty tools or factory computers, when they have cars they need help with. This is truly the "to-go" spot for all auto repair, from a simple brake job to a complex electrical diagnostic, you are in the best hands possible here.

Taking a car in for regular maintenance is usually a nerve-racking ordeal. Not with Mastertech though. Felt like part of the family as soon as Bob said hello upon checking my Lexus in. Very courteous too. They were swamped that day and although I expected my car to be there most of the day, Bob took his time out of the busy schedule to update me on the status of my car. Never tried to sell me anything like other shops do either! When I got there to pick it up, Rick went through all that was done and I was pleasantly surprised to see the total. It was less than I expected for such high quality service and level of expertise! Thank you Mastertech! Will definitely be back for regular maintenance :)
